Meta has officially launched new paid subscription plans for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp, marking one of the biggest changes in the company’s business model beyond advertising revenue.
The new subscriptions include:

• WhatsApp Plus – $2.99/month

Meta says the core versions of all three apps will continue to remain free for users.

Meta is also preparing AI-focused premium plans under a broader “Meta One” ecosystem.
These future subscriptions may include:

The rollout is part of Meta’s larger strategy to reduce dependence on advertising revenue while heavily investing in artificial intelligence infrastructure and premium digital services.
