News subscriptions

We store the email address you submit, your subscription status, registration date, and confirmation date. When email confirmation is configured, you must follow the confirmation link before joining. Otherwise, submitting the form with consent activates the subscription immediately. Active subscribers are included in newsletter exports and may request removal through the contact form.

Contact messages

We store your name, email address, subject and message so our team can review and respond to your inquiry. Please do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information through the form.

Cookies and readership

A session cookie supports secure forms, admin sign-in and limits repeated article view counts. Article views are recorded with the article identifier and time; the view table does not store your name or IP address. To limit form abuse, a hashed network address and request count are stored. Hosting providers may separately keep server logs.

Advertising

Direct advertising may link to external sites. Google advertising remains off until you choose “Allow Google ads.” Your choice is saved in your browser. If enabled, Google may receive device and network information and use its own cookies. Use “Reset advertising consent” in the footer to remove the saved choice and prevent further Google ads from loading on subsequent page loads. This does not delete cookies already set by Google; those can be cleared in your browser settings.
